This game has LESS players than EAFC25
The player base is extremely low now. Can hardly get a game on Seasons now. FUT is the most overrated online gaming experience ever (will not play it). The online GAMEPLAY is NOT good despite all the streamers, "Pros" saying otherwise.
The only saving grace for this series is MANUAL controls. And while it might be an extreme change, it is the only thing that would drastically improve the GAMEPLAY and eliminate some of the mechanics I can't even discuss on this forum. Look at how BF6 is doing so well with REALISM. Look at how competitive Rocket League is with a BALL that feels FREE flowing. MANUAL controls are the only mechanic that will allow for free-flowing Football and will create a larger skill gap. The skill gap that exists now is nonexistent. Especially with a FUT system that requires the users to spend money for better players. Why would I pay extra money on cards to play against someone that has 99 rated players ?? This has driven the core player base AWAY from the game. Pro Clubs is a better gaming experience than FUT. And even that game mode has issues now.
To the developers, SAVE EAFC with MANUAL controls like you have saved BF6. And get rid of PAYING extra for cards on FUT.
