Transferring fc points

Accidentally bought eafc 25 points instead of 26. Can I transfer over the points to the new game. I was able to transfer some points in the beginning of the game but the prompt was not given to me this time around. I already spoke with the merchant I got the points from and I could not return or exchange them.

Hey LUISCHROMOSOME You’ll need to open FC 25 first, claim your points there, and then log into FC 26. Just a heads-up, the transfer option only shows up once per account.

I think you missed the point. I have the same issue. I have been playing eafc 26 since its release and had the prompt when I started. But today I accidentally purchased eafc 25 points from argos and redeemed them on my xbox and then noticed that it was not for eafc 26. The points are now sat in eafc 25, is it possible to move them to eafc 26 now?
