It definitely is a marketing strategy, while some of us tend to grind out packs using fodder, the lazy bunch of twits prefer cashing in, but what they do not realise is the fact that players will improve your struggles for few games until EA changes things up.
Ultimately the devs do not listen, I mean I'm missing two Rival rewards since I started playing, and nothing was done about that. This community or forum is just mere formality
I agree, EA pushing frustrated players to purchase packs, and I haven't spent a cent on packs, rather I grind through SBC, Campaign objectives and Squad Battles. Yesterday I finished in Elite 3 in Squad Battles and got a bunch of fodder, including 88 rated female and one 84 and 86 rated male players all fodder.
