What is this with squad battles this year?

I mean; every year the difficulty is wonky, but this year it's beyond atrocious. In my memory, the opponent just wasting time was never this big of a problem. But now they're ball-hogging the ball to the sidelines like they don't know what to do, but as long as it takes time and is frustrating; it is the way to go.

Difficulty is all over the place. You face a 70 team chem 20 on legendary; you win easy with 6-0. Next time you face a 63 rated team with 5 chem, and with luck you barely scrape a 2-1 win (ofc their only shot is a goal). 

The opponent menu selection is absolute bonkers. Where are all the silver and bronze squads? Had 4 times in a row the easiest was a 79 rated at minimum. But ofcourse if you finished your matches, and play for evo's; the easy opponents show up.

Will they ever fix this mode?
