Why can't EA just let us play one on one and stop interfering

Why oh why ea ????? Just let us play the game... Stop ruining it with the leveling up nonsense when someone has a lesser team ....   We spend good money to make teams. May aswell have a full bronze squad.  As they will be as good as icons if we play badly for the first half .... Sort it out.......
