How can defending be so terrible & drastically different from the last game? I can barely win a game. Got to division 1 on seasons in fc25 & now I will be relegated to 10....division 10!!!!! This game is unplayable with this defending. I wish I could get my money back. Absolutely hate this terrible game!!!!
A lot of people are saying that defending is difficult this year. Of course it is! press tackle and nothing happens, unless it's delayed then he will dive in. Defenders feel clunky and slow, can't turn or jockey it's so frustrating. Why can't we have a game that is enjoyable to play ?
Those people who want ai to help them attack also don't want ai to help defend... morons.

You can still somewhat ai defend. You just play with your midfield. For some reason even when I press a run in behind my players runs to the defensive line then runs across the line rather then in the direction I'm about to release the ball. so the defender gets to it first lmao. Other instances I have there cdm tracking my player from half way across the pitch and they catch up. When roles are reversed none of my players catch up. The games relies way too much on making it fair nobody is actually where there meant to be your in the division ea wants you in according to there algorithm.
Matchmaking is terrible. I only get opponents that are pro players it feels. It has never been so bad. It is no fun at all. For casual players FUT is terrible now.
I take back what I said. Patch 1.03 improved everything significantly. Now the defense is fine and the gameplay is better.
I didnt buy last year's game. This year, they promised a lot, changed my mind but I see nothing changed in the game. Still if the game wants you to be scored, you score, If the game wants you to be conceded, you concede. It is a shame for them. Probably I stop playing within one week....
Wholeheartedly agree defending is a complete disaster. I have played every Fifa ever I am 43 and this is just a complete mess online. Then add to that the fact players will come straight through the back of you and take the ball magically when the ai decides to tackle for someone it just makes things 10 times worse. Played a match earlier it ended in 7-5 defeat, I have never ever let in 7 goals in all the years playing fifa it's mindblowing.
Because EA catered to all the american streamers like nick & inception who are completely clueless & think they know football because they put football shirts on there wall & watch messi play in a potato league.
EA thinks that because a streamer buys 1million bot accounts that they are legit even though they only get 100 comments which some are bots & also 200k views which are also bots. They are more like 20k views. Apparently the loyal fanbase & football fans are irrelevant & now EA are finding out that if you cater to lesser then 0.1 of the player base then you get terrible reviews, more refund requests & less players, take away EA play pro & the game will be in serious trouble numbers wise.
