Constant clicking sound in game

There’s a constant clicking sound when I’m in game/ when in the menus. It sounds like I’m flicking through menus when I’m not, especially when I’m not in game but it’s always there. 

This has been happening for ages, im not sure if it’s been flagged before but it can be so off putting. 

What is causing it and is there any fix
