Disconnect after kickoff in World Tour Tournament

Hello,

I've been having an issue playing the World Tour Tournament. I disconnect immediately after kickoff, and I lose my entry. Is this a common bug? Is it known by the Dev team? This will prevent me from getting Fred, so are people affected by this entitled to compensation?
