EA Servers Unavailable

Hi. I've just won a champs match, and when clicking 'advance' the "ea servers were unable to update" error came up, and forced me to restart UT. I've come back in to a disconnection warning and a loss.

Can anyone advise as to what I do now? 

Surely I can't be losing champs rewards because there was a server error?
