F710 logitech controller L stick problem during match (PC)

Hello, the controller works just fine on the menu, but when im playing a match, i can't move the players with the L stick, i can move them using the directional pad only. Furthermore, i  noticed that the game seems to swap the L stick for the directional pad during a match, this since all the actions that require using the L stick are done by moving the directional pad, and all actions which require using the directional pad are done by moving the L stick. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
