PC Controller NOT WORKING online - Why it fails and how to temporarily solve it
If you are facing problems with PC controllers and your controller does this: Works perfectly in offline: moments, squad battles, ... At online matches: rivals, tournaments works for a few seconds and suddenly stops working, you can only pass or shoot Then you have the same problem as me. Apparently its caused by some graphic or screen issue, and not by the controller. Here is a temporarily solution that "works" for me: Go to screen settings and limit your fps to 60hz and turn on VSync, this way your controller should work. I say temporarily solution because I don't find this a real solution, I hope they don't spend again 1 month without fixing this like last year. This problem is similar to last year problem that was causing stuttering, lag and fps drop when someone in the match used L1 dribbling, and it was temporarily solved by limiting fps. This should be fixed ASAP, honestly I don't want to play this game with a terrible 60 fps experience, the game looks horrible and doesn't even look like 60 fps, looks that you are playing a **bleep**ty 30fps game in 2012. I WANT TO PLAY WITH MY 165 MONITOR REFRESH RATE. If this does not get fixed it's an absolutely lame and a joke company, how can I be experimenting the same issue that I had on FC 25 (That lasted months of unplayable gameplay) ON THE RELASE DATE OF FC26! I don’t know what exactly you are waiting for to fix this issue, but I am still here trying to explain my problem and waiting for your help. In FC26 I am getting 10–15 FPS in every game mode, even in the main menu. I cannot play the game at all. There are many players experiencing the same issue. We paid money for this game and it is extremely frustrating that we are not getting any support. Season 2 has already started and we still can’t play the game. Once again, I want to say that there is a serious FPS problem. I am getting 10–15 FPS in all modes and this is NOT because of my PC. I tried everything and NOTHING works. Hi, I’ve been running into a major performance issue in EA FC 26 that makes the game literally unplayable for me. I tried to play RUSH, sometimes I get smooth gameplay, but most of the time the framerate suddenly goes to 5–10 FPS from the very beginning of the match. Even worse, when the match ends, the game stays stuck at 5–10 FPS in the menus as well. I tested Rivals and Offline Kick-off, and the same thing happened. This makes no sense because: My system should handle the game fine I play on LOW graphics settings I’ve optimized settings in both NVIDIA Control Panel and AMD software for max performance Other games (FC 25, BF1, BF2042) run smoothly without any issues My specs: Windows 11 16GB RAM AMD Ryzen 5 5600H GeForce RTX 3050 4GB At this point, I can’t properly play any mode. As per topic, the game randomly freezes and closes during FUT games. I suspect it's due to javelin anti-cheat not working well with GPU drivers. Hi! My ea connection quality report thing does not work. I created thread about it here 15 days ago. No reply from ea. I took any possible advice and tried everything. In fc 25 I had that option without problems. Win 11 64 bit pro with all updates, all drivers updated, fast fiber connection. I restarted my router, checked region in ea account settings, I have share data option checked in online settings. I play on PC. Today just for test I cheked show ping in game option. And it was weird - never have seen this before- in rush match in was allways 0. Honestly, I can’t even remember the last time I had a smooth and responsive gameplay that wasn’t late at night around midnight. No matter what I try, the game always feels slow and delayed during the day and only starts working properly late in the evening. It’s pretty obvious at this point that the issue isn’t with my connection or my PC - it’s the servers. After 2 entries in ultimate gauntlet 3 during my next entry where I won game 1, lost game 2 the round 3 game would not progress regardless of if I won the game or lost. During my 3rd round game I would get disconnected during the game and returned to the matchmaking screen where I could play round 3 again as if the game was never played. However, even if I won the match and completed it / forced a quit from my opponent. The game would not count and kick me out of ultimate team completely where I would have to load back in again. This started on the 30th October. The issue remained when I attempted the same mode on the 31st. Other modes such as squad battles were working normally. On November 1st, the issue continued so I decided to go into a gauntlet round match and quit the game by closing application. The hope was that this would end my current gauntlet entry and allow me to start a new one. As I reloaded the game I found I could not even load into Ultimate team completely. If I tried I would receive the error message 'Connecting to ultimate team is not possible at the moment. You will now be returned to the main menu'. This error message appeared all day on November 1st (and still as of now) even after sharing my complaints to EA through an online chat and forums (where I found others with the same issue) EA have given no response or solution about this case. An online EA agent suggested it to be my system software or ISP issue. However, I cleared my PS5 console cache, rebuilt the database and attempted to load into UT using my phones hotspot. None of these steps solved the issue. I have also deleted and reinstalled the FC 26 game on my PS5 which also did not solve anything. I used my second account and loaded UT on FC 26 and this was successful. The second account had no team created until today. Also the second account is on the same console as the account I can’t load UT on. This confirms the problem to be an EA account issue and not an internet or software issue of the console. Another thing to note is that after the failed login to UT. I am unable to open the companion or web app as both claim I am signed in on another device even though this is not the case. After 3 hours the companion app does allow me to log back in which I discovered late evening of November 1st after just waiting. This bug has caused me to miss key SBC’s for the Lewis Skelly objective and also meant I was unable to continue playing the gauntlet or squad battles modes over Saturday. This is no fault of my own and EA must make an effort to compensate players who could not do SBC’s or earn rewards in gauntlet, squad battles, champions, rivals games due to being locked out of UT mode.
