FC 26 – Game window opens then closes instantly (AMD RX 7800 XT / Windows 11)
Hello EA team,
Since the latest October (v1.10 / EA App 15.27), my game no longer launches. When I click Play in EA App, the EA Javelin AntiCheat window opens and closes correctly, then a black EA SPORTS FC26 window appears for about one second and closes whitout any error message.
My system:
- GPU : AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT
- CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- Motherboard : Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX V2 (BIOS F31)
- OS : Windows 11 22H2 (TPM 2.0 + Secure Boot enabled)
- EA App version : 15.27 (latest stable, no beta option available)
What I already tried: :
- Clean reinstall of EA App and EA AntiCheat
- Full repair and reinstall of the game
- Verified BIOS TPM / Secure Boot
- Updated AMD drivers (Adrenalin 24.10.1 clean install)
- Created (user.cfg) to force DirectX11
- Disabled all overlays (AMD, Discord, Xbox Game Bar)
- Game still opens a black window and closes instanly
Could you confirm if this is part of the know RX 7000 series crash issue (DirectX 12 + Secure Boot) and when patch v1.11 or hotfix will be available through EA App Beta? Thank you for your help and for confirming that my setup matches the affected configurations.
