FC 26 Black Screen PC - Computer unusable and reboot needed
I recently purchased EA Pro to play Fifa 26 but am unable to play the game due to the game causing my computer to black screen.
It sounds like an error pops-up after the game black screens but I cannot see the error and i am unable to get back into Windows GUI and am forced to reboot. No commands work to get back to Windows.
I have attempted the following solutions:
Repair Game
Reinstall Game
Delete DirectX Shader Cache
Reinstall latest NVIDIA graphics card drivers
Ensured BIOS & all other drivers are up to date
Attempted to launch with admin, disable all overlays, optimizations to fullscreen.
Attempted in lower frame rate/hz/etc
Troubleshooted possible network issues by rebooting modem/router.
Countless other solutions.... (updated directX, comptability mode, different monitor, checked hardware, cables, etc)
The issue can sometimes happen upon launching the game but its guaranteed to happen every time i play the game and currently its unplayable so a pretty bad experience. I would like to get the issue resolved ASAP as the reason I purchased EA Pro Play was to play Fifa which I am unable to do....
