FC26 does not start
Hello, im facing a problem where the game wont start. When I launch the game, the initial window appears, but instead of launching the game, it closes and opens the EA app. What should I do?

Hey I had the exact same problem for months! Skip all the usual fixes like reinstalling drivers, secure boot, reinstalling the game etc because none of that worked for me. The actual fix is super simple — go to Start and search for 'environment variables', open 'Edit the system environment variables', click 'Environment Variables' in the Advanced tab, find a variable called 'GAME_DATA_DIR' and delete it, click OK and restart your PC. Game launched instantly after that. Try this first before doing anything else!
