Game fails to launch from Steam - no error message, just closes

Issue Details:

Platform: Steam + EA App
Game: EA SPORTS FC 26

Problem Description:

When I try to launch EA FC 26 from Steam, the following sequence happens:

1. EA App opens and says "Preparing game"
2. EA AntiCheat shortcut appears and shows "Updating"
3. EA AntiCheat says "Launching game"
4. EA App reopens automatically
5. A message briefly appears in the EA App saying: "Some features have been disabled because the EA app launched from another application"
6. After this message, the game simply does not open
7. No error code, no crash report, no further messages - nothing happens

What I've Tried (so far):

• Clearing EA App cache
• Reinstalling both EA App and Steam
• Checking Steam/EA account linking
• Running everything as administrator
• Changing launch order.)
• Repairing EA AntiCheat
• Deleting EA registry folders

Important Context:

• I have successfully played this game before with the same setup
• The issue started recently without any obvious changes
• My GPU is RTX 4050
• The game shows no errors - it just silently fails to launch
