Game will not launch on steam

When I try to launch my game on steam it won't launch, when I open it the splash screen appears but then once it loads up the EA App icon shows up at the taskbar and then it stops my launch. I don't know what is causing it because I've tried to validate the integrity of the files and other things and still to no avail.
