Live tuning and disconnect penalty

I was just playing a game of gauntlet and won in penalties, I head back to the menu and it says the server cannot process the result at this time. I restart my game and there’s a live tuning update, and when I open ultimate team I get the disconnect warning. The game didn’t count and I got nothing for it. Seems ridiculous that you can update the game at any time and disconnect me? Is there something else happening that I’m missing?
