Low (15) FPS, Huge Input Lag, R2 Social Menu Grayed Out
Hello everyone,
I am experiencing severe performance issues and bugs in FC 26 on PC that render the game completely unplayable. Despite spending hours troubleshooting, the game fails to run properly 95% of the time. Because I spent so much time trying to fix these issues, my playtime has exceeded 2 hours, so I cannot request a refund. I need urgent help.
Here are the specific issues I am facing:
- 10-15 FPS in ALL Modes: Whether I am in Career Mode, Ultimate Team, or actually playing a match, the FPS constantly drops to 10-15 FPS. The entire game is unresponsive. Even on the rare occasions when the game runs at a playable framerate, online matches are still unplayable due to huge input lag.
R2 / Social & R1 / Music Menu Bug: The R2 (Friends/Social) and R1 (Music Menu) options are completely grayed out at the bottom of the screen and do not open at all. (Note: Changing the game language fixes this specific menu bug temporarily, but the issues return).
Inconsistency: Out of approximately 20 attempts to launch the game, it has only worked with normal FPS once. Every other time, the performance is broken.
I have already tried ALL of the following troubleshooting steps with no success:
- Changed all V-Sync settings, FPS limits, and Monitor Hz refresh rates that I saw in videos/forums.
Reinstalled the game 3-4 times. - Tried installing the game on 3 separate drives (SSDs).
- Performed a complete PC Format (Clean Install of Windows). Even a fresh OS did not solve the issue.
My System Specs: CPU: Intel Core i5-11400H
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti
RAM: 16GB
OS: Windows 11
I literally formatted my PC just for this game, and it still doesn't work. Has anyone found a permanent fix for this constant low FPS, input lag, and the grayed-out R2/R1 buttons?
Any help would be appreciated.
