My keyboard arrow keys stopped working after I took the game controller out.

I set up the game controller, and after removing it, my keyboard arrow keys stopped working. I had configured the keyboard keys. Even though player movement was set to arrow keys, it changes the tactical settings and doesn't recognize the change. I deleted the profile settings, set the game controller settings back to classic, and even uninstalled the game, but nothing worked. I make changes to the game controller settings, save them to the profile, but after exiting the game, it reverts back to my old settings. I had only changed the player movement to arrow keys in the game controller settings. It's broken the keyboard, and it's not fixing it.It's not saving the changes I've made.
