Ping is bad on FC 26 but good on 25

Can someone ELI5 why my ping in FC 25 is 14-18 on average (that's throughout the game cycle and even now) but in FC 26 it's 32-52? I'm not the only one, Reddit is full of similar complaints. Has EA lost so much of its consumer base that they have to connect people from acroas the continent?

In FC25 I could do Rivals at 40-70ms but on FC26 I get only 180-230+
It's so bad that I can't compete. I have lost so many matches due to input latency. It's like playing some psychic as they have seen all my passing before I have .
