Player Missing From Transfer list

I was buying some players earlier and I came across a George Best at 397k and bought it, I then sent it to my transfer list and it’s not there. I’ve checked my club, sbc storage, quick sell recovery and unassigned and I Don’t have it anywhere. I’ve been restarting and refreshing the game for a couple hours now to see if it’s a visual bug and he just pops up but nothing yet. Has anyone come across this issue before?
