Playstyle bug

I put technical plus from the season pass evo on 87 Tonali before his card got upgraded. He was supposed to have 3 play style pluses. But, when I logged on today to see hid card his technical plus got removed. I would have been fine with this if I got the technical plus back, but of course when I checked evolutions it was gone. I don't know if this was supposed to happen or not, so can someone please help?
