PS5 controller issue

A month ago the controller suddenly decided to shift the player moving button from the left analog to the right. Of course I tried double checking the settings (which looks fine). I also tried restring the settings, console, even deleted the game and reinstalled it. Nothing seems to be working, the game is unplayable. Unless you have octopus hands or switch to the tactical buttons for movements. I’ve reported this on the EA platform.  Any advice/recommendations?
