Same problem for me, the only thing is that the mode that doesn't work for me is Rush. I hope they fix it soon..

I use an PS4 controller and it happen to me too , i cannot play online games, neither RUSH . Still just exit the game because you cannot use controller 

same issue, no resolution. we purchased early access to be not able to play! crazy!

i have the issue as well. got the game today on regular release and when i started the first hour it would pick up just fine. but another hour in the controller would not pick up until after skipping the cut scene. once the game starts the controller wont work it will pickup my keyboard instead and only wasd works. makes no sense how the controller works on everything else until the match starts on divsion rivals. its not a hardware issue its just the game. hopefully this gets fixed soon.

i have the same problem i tried two controllers bought a new Typ C  for ps5 controllers on pc charging cable, i also tried to install the game again but still the same problem only on rivals. I am just ragequitting everytime i cannot anymore! EA pleaseeeee

Everything was fine, and now the game is unplayable. Terribly frustrating.

I am having this problem. 2 times already, cannot complete objectives and play UT properly. Controller does not work in Rush but in eveything else it works.
