I bought FC 26 Ultimate Edition via Steam.
Tried both Steam Input enabled and disabled.
Tried both borderless and full-screen.
Controller works perfectly in menu, but as soon as I join a game, it switches to "KEYBOARD ONLY" and locks that way so I cannot change it.
Game is unplayable.

cant play the game it is not my controller it is the game because in rocket league my controller works fine
The controller turns into a keyboard only; however, it works well in menus, and I didn't select keyboard and mouse. I don't know if it's a bug or if I'm facing a hacker, I've reported the players
Just came up against a PC player with a random username and had your exact issue. Such bull**bleep**. Hackers have already wasted so much of my time this game
