Re: Season Pass Level 40 Rewards - Tomori

I got this bug too. It was when I pressed and held 'Claim' instead of doing each one individually. However, I was presented with some of the choices but not all of them. I had a screen for Level 39 Premium and I picked 83+ x5, and then I had a screen for Level 40 Standard and I picked 85+ x2 instead of Rodgers. I didn't get a screen for Tomori (I would have picked him if given a choice).

This is a bug and not what is supposed to happen so we should receive compensation if they see it.

As an aside, the Season Pass screen is a complete UI fail. Needs to be redesigned.

yea it's really bad. I hope they give us back what we lost, because we didn’t have any choice

I had the same problem, I thought they had just given me all the rewards instead. I mainly wanted the players. I opened the packs and went to build my team with the new players but I couldn't see them in my club... Which is kind of annoying. Looks like a bug cause I don't remember being given a choice at any level during the season pass

So you've opened the packs , received trash and have now decided instead you want the players????

Of course it's not possible to now get the players or everyone would do it , in essence just getting free goes at getting good pack pulls then if it doesn't work get the players

This is what happened to me as well unfortunately, choice for rogers but no choice for tomori. Pretty disappointing but hopefully gets sorted. (PC) 

I actually got some good cards, but im a huge fan of rogers irl and I needed the tomori for my seria A team the minute I saw him, Ive been waiting for this moment since early access. I also stored them in my club. I have access to the premium pass. so unless I have misunderstood how it works I think its a bug,  like I said in my post at no point in the pass I was given an option to choose between rewards the only option is claim.

As a "seasoned Ace" you should know how buggy this game can get. I dont understand your point in taking time out of your day just to tell people they are lying about something that you havent experienced.

We are here looking for clarity not confrontation

I had something similar. The problem in my case was that it wouldn't let me choose, and of course, like previous cases, the season pass assumed that we would get everything from the rewards. But when I logged in to receive rewards, I received packs and a Tomori, which of course I didn't have the option to choose because of that terrible mistake with the season pass.

I understand all the errors that happen in the PC game, but this was the last straw: finishing the season pass only for a bug to occur with the game in the end.

I'm not sure if this is might not be intended that it's defaulting to packs when not manually selecting the players.

But I understand your point that it's not that clear from a user experience in that case.

Does anyone of you have a video of the flow where you weren't shown any choices? I can bring it up to the team to look into if there can be some improvements made.

The same thing just happened to me. I held down claim all button and got packs. Actuallypacked about 100k value but don’t want them. I want Rodger’s and tomori. Ive been on ea help but not able to resolve. Very disappointing.  

Same happened to me. I’ve spoke with ea help and asked them to raise it further as a technical issue. I hope everyone that this has happened to does the same. This needs sorted out asap

Sorry unfortunately I don't have a video of the flow but I can send a screen shot of my season pass completed but the Tomori is still unticked, but on my web app it says complete and ticked if that would help?

Unfortunately, I don't have a video of the moment, because I honestly never expected something like that to happen. I thought the player selection was always guaranteed, so I didn’t record anything.

same issue for me.... i pressed and hold the claim Button as always. No Player choice. Now i have the packs in the Shop and didnt opened it because i was confused why they spawned there.

So this needs to be fixed!! the decision shoudnt be chosen for u if you claim all... thats a bug in my opinion. if there is a possibility to get the players instead the packs i would appreciate this.

Same issue happened to me. I wanted the Tomori but when I clicked the claim all button it gave me the packs instead of Tomori. It’s very disappointing given how hard we clearly have all worked to get enough season pass XP to get Tomori, as well as purchasing the Ultimate Edition in order to get the first Season Pass Premium. EA help admitted in a chat with me that when you click “claim all” button it gives you the first slot which was the pack, which obviously it doesn’t say anywhere on the game and is clearly a coding error, the same error happened last year and I’m sure they said they fixed it or was going to fix it. If I’m honest it’s very disappointing. If that button does that there should be a warning message. Best example is that woman who bought coffee from McDonald’s and burnt herself and sued McDonald’s because the cup didn’t say “hot contents” on the cup. It’s the same premise here, the game should of told us, I feel like the fairest solution is to get us the Tomori we worked hard to get, it’s untradable and EA lose nothing by granting us Tomori, and they can’t say they can’t do anything as we see EA grant real life footballer players cards in  game all the time, and grant packs and players when they make a mistake like that have here. Hope you can help please.

Unfortunately I don't have any video and there is no way to go back and repeat the process so I can't replicate the scenario. The lack of clarity from a UI perspective is a secondary issue. The main issue is that there seems to be a bug when I wasn't given an option to claim any rewards for the Level 40 Premium track, but I was for the Level 39 Premium and Level 40 Standard tracks.

As far as I can remember, I had Level 39 and Level 40 to claim. I held down the button to Claim All, pressed back to get back to the UT menu and the was presented with a screen to select a pack for Level 39 Premium, then another screen to select a pack or Rogers for Level 40 Standard and then it returned me to the UT menu (as I had selected packs and not a player pick).

The same happened to me actually, I pressed X to claim all rewards but it didn't give me the choice between player and pack, it took automatically the packs.

I don't have a video but you can see the pictures attached. I still haven't redeemed the packs yet.

Can you please give me Tomori and take the packs? Please

Any update about this. I see a lot of players have had the same issue. I pressed the button to claim all rewards. It should if there is a choice take me to a screen to choose what rewards I want and not automatically give me packs instead of tomori and rogers.  It’s left a lot of us frustrated as it was a grind to get to end of season and now to be without those cards which we paid the premium for.  Hopefully you can give us an update from the team soon if they are looking into it. 🙂

If you've opened the packs you're not getting the players and nor should you , I have some sympathy if you've kept the packs and not opened them and if they can take them back and give you the player fair enough, but if you've opened them and got trash and are now wanting the players no chance,  you've had a chance of getting something good and everybody else who took the players hasn't so you deserve nothing, may seem harsh but it's true 

I don't think you understand the issue. This isn't a case of people simply wanting another chance at the making a decision...

We haven't chosen the packs. The game is automatically selecting the packs for some of us without being presented the 'Multi Choice' screen, or not even giving any rewards to some at all.

If multiple people are having this issue there must be something wrong with the 'Claim All' button that needs to be fixed.

In my case, I wanted the envelopes and they gave me the player. It's a big mistake that they don't give you the option to choose whether it's blocked or done automatically.

Salve ho avuto un problema con I progressi della stagione. Sono arrivato a livello 40, ho sempre riscattato tutte le ricompense mantenendo il tasto premuto "X" Arrivato all ultimo livello ho visto che la ricompensa per le carte di Rogers e Tomori non erano riscattate,ma solo i pacchetti..c'è possibilità di ricevere queste 2 carte ? Potere ritirare dal club le carte che ho trovato nel pacchetti basta di ricevere queste 2 carte. Grazie.
