Squads not updating

My squads aren't updating even though I manually update them. Like for example bruno fernandes is 88 in my game but he was supposed to be 90. Sometimes when I engage in an online friendly, I cannot use certain teams, I get kicked out of the game. What is the point of me spending so much money for the game if it isn't going to be worthy? I don't get how such a big company can make such big mistakes. Thank you for your time.
