Buy now option greyed out in Ultimate Team for no apparent reason
Dear EA, I'm writing this because I am beyond frustrated with a problem that has suddenly appeared in FC 26 Ultimate Team and is ruining my experience. For some reason, the buy mow option on the transfer market is completely greyed out for me, even though it has never, ever happened to me before in any previous title of even earlier in FC 26. I have spent a lot of time building my squad, grinding objectives, and trading to make coins, only to now be blocked from something as basic as purchasing a player directly. What makes this even worse is that there seems to be no explanation for it. I haven't received any message, warning, or notification to suggest that I have been restricted, nor have I done anything that would warrant a restriction in the first place. I'm simply trying to use the market like every other player that plays your game, yet I'm left staring at a greyed out by now option button that won't even let me bloody click on the **bleep** thing. This is incredibly frustrating when I'm in the middle of squad building and I spot a card I need/want, only to be completely locked out of completing the purchase. I have tried everything I can think of on my side such as: restarting the game, logging out and back in, restarting my console, checking for updates and even testing the companion app. But the problem is still there, and it's making Ultimate Team borderline unplayable for me. If this is some kind of bug, it's a serious one that EA really needs to take on board and acknowledge and fix immediately. If it's some kind of hidden restriction, then why on earth is it not being communicated properly to the players who play this game? Either way, the lack of transparency and communication is unacceptable. I have to be honest this is the kind of issue that really takes away from the enjoyment of the game. I spend my time and sometimes money on FC points to be a part of this mode, and it feels like I am being punished for nothing. It doesn't just waste my time it kills my motivation to log in when I don't even know if the most basic features are going to work. This is what I want to see from EA:
- Acknowledgement- Please confirm that this issue exists and provide an official response
- Clarity- If this is due to a rule, restriction, or cooldown, then make it clear to players, don't just silently grey out functions without telling us why.
- action- fix this bug or lift the restriction for players who have not done anything wrong
I'm not the type of person who normally posts here, but this issue has annoyed me so much I felt that I had to. I have never had this problem before, and the fact it is happening now, without warning, is completely unacceptable. Please fix this because it is damaging the overall experience of FC 26 Ultimate Team and making me question why I even bother playing when I can't even use the bloody market properly.
