Case 241094362 help asked by Community Manager (ansfers HQ)
Dear EA Support,
My name is Jelle Oudshoorn, and I am a dedicated player of EA FC 26 with the account name YellsonMandela. I am writing to dispute the unjustified transfer market ban I recently received. I believe this ban is the result of an incorrectly flagged transaction by EA's automated system, and I kindly request that you review my case again. The casenr is 241094362. I cannot do new reviews or open cases on the EA HELP page anymore. Because it's rejected to many times. So here i aks help to a community manager.
I would like to emphasize that the transaction which led to the ban was completely legal and followed EA's official guidelines. The card was sold at a price within EA's maximum price range, and there was no involvement in any form of coin distribution or market manipulation. I had no control over the final price or who purchased the card.
Arguments for my dispute:
- Price Range: The card was sold within the official price range set by EA.
- Transaction Method: The sale was made via the "Open bid" option, meaning I had no control over the final price or the buyer. This is an important consideration, as the sale price was determined by the bidding process, not my actions.
- Account Value: I have invested significant time and money into my account and associated FC points. It is completely illogical for me to risk a ban over a small crypto transaction that did not violate any rules.
As part of my dispute, I also request access to the data EA holds on my account. In accordance with data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), I request a "Data Subject Access Request" (DSAR) for my full transaction logs. This should demonstrate that no coordinated transfers or suspicious activities took place, and could help clarify that this is a false positive.
Additionally, I am aware that there have been recent reports of false positives being flagged during highly volatile market conditions, such as during Winter Wildcards. It would be helpful to verify if my account may have been affected by a system error or a "banwave" that has had broader implications.
I kindly ask that you review this case again and, if necessary, initiate a manual review by a staff member. I am confident that this will lead to the conclusion that my ban is unjustified and that my account will regain access to the transfer market.
I look forward to your response and hope this matter can be resolved quickly and fairly. Should you need any further information, please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
YellsonMandela
Hey YellsonMandela,
Unfortunately we can't help with bans or sanctions here on the forums. Only our terms of service team have the power to uphold or revoke bans, but if they've denied your request multiple times then I'm afraid that it's highly likely that the ban will stay in place.
