Disconnection Penalty

I'm playing Rush. The game matches me with three teammates who have absolutely no interest in playing as a team.

One starts shooting the moment he crosses the halfway line. Another spends the entire match standing inside the center circle without taking part in the game. The third picks Yamal, spins around in circles, runs all over the pitch trying to pull off skill moves instead of making simple passes.

So here's a question for the developers: as a grown adult who's been playing this game for years just to have some fun, am I really expected to waste five minutes of my life in a match that was lost the moment it kicked off? A match where the only real question is how many goals the other team is going to score. Or do I have the right to leave because I'm stuck in a game where nobody is trying to play proper football?

Of course, I leave the match... and I get a 15-minute matchmaking ban.

Is that normal?

Is it normal for one teammate to stand in the center circle for the entire game and contribute absolutely nothing?

Is it normal for another teammate to blindly shoot from midfield every single possession?

Is it normal for the third teammate to spend the whole match treating it like a skill practice session instead of actually playing football?

Apparently, I'm the problem because I refused to waste my time on that match. I'm the "toxic" player.

Yes, punish me. Meanwhile, the three players who completely ruined the match for everyone are probably spending those same 15 minutes ruining someone else's game.

But hey, who cares?

It's much easier to punish the player who actually wanted to play properly. Players like that are becoming rarer and rarer in this game anyway.

From now on, I'll just stand in the center circle, stare at the sky, and randomly move my controller for five minutes. Apparently, that's considered more acceptable than leaving a match that stopped being a game the moment it started and turned into five minutes of frustration for everyone involved.

So thanks, EA. You just made my decision not to buy FC27 a whole lot easier. You reminded me exactly how little this game cares about people who simply want fair matches and to have fun.
