EA servers keep disconnecting right after I win — game doesn’t count

 

Is anyone else dealing with this? I’ve now won two Gauntlet games in a row on Ultimate Team, and right after the final whistle I get hit with: “EA servers are unavailable.”

 

When I back out, the game doesn’t count at all — no win, no record, nothing. My internet is totally fine, and this only happens the moment the match ends.

 

Just happened again after winning 4–2 (or 4–3). Final whistle blows, screen freezes, boom: same message, no win. I’m really tired of wasting my time playing full games only for EA to pretend they never happened.

 

And the best part? I can’t even contact EA support about this issue. But the second I click anything related to “problems buying something,” suddenly a live chat magically appears. Wild how that works.

 

Anyone know what’s going on or how to fix it?

  • From the sounds of it, it's a shadow ban (perhaps for playing too many games, quitting too many games, or scoring too many goals). The reality is that it could just be PC cheaters disconnecting you. If you're on console, could you try winning the Gauntlet with cross-play turned off?

    That exactly what i think it is. Because i was playing pc users that all quit in strange times like 85+ mins and so on. Once a quit happened this all started. One to many i guess. So i tried gauntlet today aswell. Same thing. People were quitting. Maybe they have the same issue cause they quit as soon as the game launched. Anyways, no win. And then my game froze on the black pre load screen loading in to a game and boom. Now i get the same msg but cant even get into ultimate team game mode anymore.

    Gauntlet seems to be one of the buggiest modes this year, hopefully it gets fixed soon!
