I have almost the exact same problem.
My account was permanently banned “Balance Transfer.” I have never bought coins, transferred coins between accounts, used a second account for transfers, or used bots or market automation.
I was simply trading manually on the Transfer Market, buying items when I found them cheap and reselling them for profit. I submitted multiple appeals explaining this, but they were denied and the later responses described the reason more generally as “cheating,” without identifying what transaction or activity I supposedly did wrong.
This is extremely frustrating because I spent a lot of time building my squad and also purchased FC Points legitimately. I have never cheated in FC or any other game.
I would also like EA to investigate whether legitimate Transfer Market activity is being incorrectly detected as Balance Transfer. At the very least, players need some way to understand what activity triggered such a serious permanent sanction.
Thanks for posting this. Your case is almost exactly the same pattern several people here have already described: manual trading, one account, no coin buying or transferring, no bots — and then a permanent “Balance Transfer” ban.
Obviously I can’t see anyone else’s account, but it’s hard for me to imagine someone knowingly transferring coins or using bots then spending weeks publicly asking EA to review every transaction and tell them exactly what they supposedly did wrong.
For now I’ve stopped submitting appeals. From what I understand, I may only have two attempts left before EA simply closes the appeal route completely. I’ve downloaded my account data and I’m waiting for another data request using the method someone here suggested. I want to analyse everything properly first and then submit the next appeal with specific facts.
I’ll also keep posting here so this doesn’t just disappear. Without someone from EA noticing the repeated pattern and escalating it internally, I’m afraid we’ll just keep getting the same template responses.
For me, the bigger question now is: how is a normal player supposed to trade actively and manually without triggering a false positive in EA’s detection system if EA never explains where the limits are?

Please keep going, mate. At this point, for me it’s not even about getting the game back anymore.
What bothers me most is being labelled a cheater. If there is a problem with EA’s detection system or the way these cases are being reviewed, players shouldn’t be treated as liars simply because the system says they are guilty.
The changing reasons make it even more frustrating — “Balance Transfer” on the penalty, then “cheating” in the appeal responses, while nobody will tell us what transaction or action actually caused it.
I actually think your approach is the right one: collect the data, analyse it, document everything and keep the discussion visible.
Keep us updated. Even if I never play FC again, I’d still like to see whether we can get a real explanation of what happened.

I’m in exactly the same situation as you.
At first, the people reviewing the appeals call it “Balance Transfer.” Then, after several appeals where I explain everything in detail and ask them to review my full trading history, every transaction and every coin movement, the wording suddenly becomes simply “cheating.”
And honestly, that’s the part that annoys me the most.
I’m not a scammer and I’m not a cheater. I’m just someone who likes football, enjoys playing Rush with friends, and likes learning how the Transfer Market works and trading on it. I have never used bots, autobuyers or any third-party trading software, and I have no intention of doing so.
So when you explain everything, ask them to check every single transaction, and the result is basically being labelled a cheater and a liar, it really gets under your skin. I honestly don’t think someone who knowingly broke the rules would be this eager to have EA inspect everything they did. We’re literally asking them to do exactly that.
And the strange part is that your case, my case, and several others in this thread are all following almost the exact same pattern.
EA has already acknowledged in the past that its systems and mechanisms are not perfect. So there is nothing impossible about false positives happening here too. If we keep documenting these cases and keeping the discussion visible, sooner or later someone inside EA has to notice the pattern.
And the funny part is that I already bought FC 27 Ultimate Edition 😄 I haven’t even made a single Transfer Market sale there yet — but my hands are already itching to start trading.
So I guess we can start a new experiment: how long until I get banned again for normal manual trading?
If I get the same ban in FC 27, then we’ll know for sure: we thought we had hit rock bottom… and then someone knocked from below. 😂 That would be a whole new level of f…d up.
