How to add opponent and ask for some advice

So in friendlies I got to play against some opponents who are really good at this game/have much higher rankings than I do thanks to EAs matching mechanism. I want to add these opponents after game for some game tips or some player reviews, which is quiet common in any other games. I asked nicely with praises like "well played" "hello" "add me" and applied. However almost everyone replies back with immediate mocking replies such as "too easy". 

Is it because this community is too toxic that they naturally assume some one add them will only say rude words and insults? Or is it that in western society, football is only interested by lower-class people so most of them are less civilized and have less courtesy? Because in other games, good players normally tends to give advice to novices or answer some questions. Even they don't have the time to do so, at least they will not be mean most of the time. FC is the only online game that I've played which does not have this kind of culture. Even good players tend to insult as hard as they can as if they haven't won for a long time and need an emotional outburst (but they indeed played well).  Why is this?
