Matchmaking nightmare

How on earth is it possible still this day and age if the kits don’t match and your default club ones are so different can you still get a kit clash! Caused me to lose my game for relegation from div 4 because I couldn’t tell who was who absolutely ridiculous! 

you can no longer quit without being punished so what do I do in this scenario casual player who works full time punished because of EA’s incompetence yet again
