Menu Lag

Hey everyone,

I've searched through the forum but couldn't find anything relevant, so hoping someone here might be able to help.

I've been experiencing persistent lag issues, mainly in menus but also occasionally at the end of games. Specifically:

• Menu lag – Most noticeably in Evos when searching for a player too quickly. The EA logo repeatedly appears at the bottom of the screen, as if the game is struggling to retrieve data. This happens consistently.

• End of game lag – After some matches, the game kicks me out of Ultimate Team, though it does still register the result and any objectives correctly.

Things I've already tried:

✅ Deleted and reinstalled the game

✅ Cleared cache multiple times

✅ Cleared game data

✅ Deleted and recreated my profile

✅ Deleted all squads and concept teams

✅ Checked with my ISP – internet is fine (download ~400Mbps, upload 30–60Mbps)

 

I also tried EA's contact page but was only able to reach a bot with no option to speak to a real person.

Has anyone experienced something similar or have any other suggestions? Any help would be appreciated!

  • It may be something as easy as cleaning the inside of your system it may be some dust or anything inside causing everything to have to work harder or it could be something internal, maybe take it to a shop and have someone open it up and take a look. Get back with us and let us know what you try next. And btw what are you playing on?
