Not recognised as playing FC 25 despite having over 300 hours in the game

as the title states, I played quite a bit of FC25 in the last couple month of the game (August & September) and did all the challenges for the carry forward rewards but upon starting FC26 it didn't recognise any of it and thinks this is my first time playing

I bought both games through the EA store and used the same account for both, wondering if I could get in touch with support to somehow link the two together?

Any support or suggestions are greatly appreciated :)
