Opponent was losing and somehow pause glitched? Left me stuck at ht?!

So, I went 2-0 up early. It came up that opponent had a pause queued. Ball went out but didn't pause. Left me playing the game by myself until ht and then just rolled the ht scenes forever without giving me a pause menu, forcing me to close the game. Was a promotion match and doesn't seem to be a method of reporting and/or receiving the win?!
