Packs luck

I’ve been playing this game since 2013, back when it was still called FIFA, and now here I am on FC 26, still dealing with the same frustrating problem: my pack luck is terrible. No matter how much time I put into the game, no matter how many objectives I complete or packs I open, I almost never get anything worth the effort.

 

What makes it even worse is the people around me. My friends, who sometimes don’t even play as much as I do, open a few packs and suddenly they’re pulling top-tier players, icons, or special cards. I watch it happen again and again. We open packs together, and while they celebrate, I just sit there looking at another low-rated player that I’ll probably discard or use in an SBC.

 

It’s not just about getting good players—it’s about the feeling. After years of grinding, you start to expect at least some reward for your dedication. But instead, it feels like the game is constantly working against me. Every big promo, every “guaranteed” pack, every moment that’s supposed to be exciting turns into disappointment.

 

I know pack luck is random, and technically everyone has the same chances. But after more than a decade of playing, it’s hard not to feel like my account is just cursed. It’s mentally exhausting. What should be a fun part of the game ends up being something that stresses me out and kills my motivation to keep playing.

 

At this point, I’m not even asking for the best players in the game. I just want to feel like my time means something, like the game can surprise me in a good way for once. Because right now, it feels like no matter what I do, the outcome is always the same—and honestly, it’s starting to affect how much I enjoy the game at all.

    Another thing mate, based on EA practises, you're better off making a new account next year. Old accounts have less risk so they care less about retaining you via rewards

    I made Division 1 this week after so much grinding, didn't get a player worth more than it's 1k quick sell. 10 wins in champs, best I got was a totw worth 10k

    I feel your pain mate, for example, I got the 3 Brazilian player pack 88+, and got to chose between 3 players all 88 rated, I do the SBC to get a TOTS or Birthday FUT or any special card, and I always get the lowest rated players. Or if I manage a 90 or 91 rated, then they are the lowest priced cards, you see some cards going for half a million plus and I get the card which is going for 11,000. 

     

    I have been playing this since November and my transfer profit is minus 111,000 because I never pack any cards that are worth anything to sell. I got fed up and quick sold all my players, made about 200.000 bought a pack for 200,000 and  I packed  Declan Rice gold card worth 2,400. Some accounts are just cursed.
