PC user disabled control of my players
Hello, I was playing gauntlet on PS5. I had two perfect rounds, was 4 wins into my third round and came up against a pc player who paused the game, upon which I could no longer control my players. The camera angles were weird too, as if the game "thought" it was on pause, while my opponent played on. I couldn't do anything and my opponent scored a couple quick goals and let the clock run out. I hoped that it would maybe automatically disconnect him/me after the game, but I couldn't return to the menu so I was forced to close my game, losing all my progress I made in gauntley. I ended up with no time left in the event to try again. I contacted EA help and was told they would inform "the team", I don't know what this will mean for me. I spent nearly an hour in this chat and have no idea on what will happen and how I will be informed on the result. It all feels incredibly frustrating.
