Squad Battles AI
The update to career mode ai has completely broken and ruined squad battles. Might work on authentic but clearly doesn't on competitive, this must not have been tested and if it was then please fire...

Played squad battles for the first time in a while, and oh my god it is still terrible. They haven’t fixed anything, and it’s back to possession based tactics
Honestly, it seems that they want to make it as hard as possible to make you think you need better players (and then spend money). That’s the only thing they actually seem focused on. Funny how fast they fixed the Lamine Yamal SBC issue, but haven’t done anything about this in months…
I must be honest, although yes it defo has increased the possession, and still has the must score attitude at times and becomes impossible to defend against.
but generally I’m finding it a bit easier, I win pretty much all games by at least 3 goals on both WC and legendary. I’m averaging 36000 points now a weekI agree to an extent, I haven’t lost in weeks but with my team, I shouldn’t.. but it feels closer to the possession-based game we had last month than it does the game they “fixed” it to. I needed a 118th minute equaliser and penalties to beat a WC team on Sunday.. and I had a mental 6-4 against a low chem legendary side last week.. but some games are still easy 8-0’s on legendary.
Out of interest Sparky, what team do you use? And is it the team you use online or slightly tweaked?
This is what I run with in SB’s after a recent tweak.. I’ve spent a little bit on packs but I’ve had some mega pack luck that’s enabled me to do some great Icon SBC’s..
MDC1991 i try not to play online, I literally play 5 rivals, made div4 without trying. I mainly use this team
Unsure why people are still complaining. The matches are quite stressy but you can always tone down difficulty. Still have issues with the cheating on legendary bronze teams and their insane defense but I guess it beats the experience of trashing them 8-0. There also seems to be a "killswitch" that suddenly puts the opposing team on steriods where they will smash through my defense.
Every week I even to lose 1 match but still avg well over 36K which I've never had in previous games.
You are confused that people aren't having FUN?

People don't enjoy having to overcome cheating AI where 50 rated defenders can overcome 30 yard headstarts and outsprint Henry
People don't enjoy every single loose ball going to the opposition
People don't enjoy the AI making perfect sliding tackles and the ball flying forwards at 10000MPH before curling perfectly to the AI goalkeeper striker who controls it perfectly
People don't enjoy your own team acting like idiots and making stupid runs or actively trying to make sure the defender is in front of them
People don't enjoy the game literally ignoring your inputs and passing wherever the hell it wants to
Its has nothing to do with skill, unless we're missing the ability to outcheat the cheating AI.
And even if you do win, IT'S NOT FUN
