Transfer timer problems

I skipped out playing fc25 last year and have had to do the objectives which were completed weeks ago but my timer for selling players isn't going down at all I've left it expecting it to get patched but multiple updates in and I'm still unable to sell any players. Has anyone got any fixes for this?
