Ultimate Gauntlet 9 Disconnect Bug

I am receiving the same bug that many others have seemed to have this year. When completing the 3rd game in a Gauntlet run I am met with a "Unable to connect to EA Servers" and kicked back to the main menu. After trying to disconnect manually from a game I am now no longer able to enter Ultimate Team. This bug seems to be caused by the game allowing you to enter Gauntlet matches with the same team multiple times in one run. I have already used the Web App to delete all active squads. Still not able to enter Ultimate Team. I am on PC for what it's worth.   

I've seen this posted multiple times and have yet to see an actual resolution from EA. Has anyone been able to find a work around?
