WHERE IS MY MESSI???

Good evening, I would like to know why, after opening a pack, I found an untradeable duplicate Messi rated 86. I swapped him with my tradeable version and sold the tradeable one. I then sent the untradeable one to my club. After doing this, I closed the game and reopened it a few hours later, but the untradeable Messi was missing, while the tradeable one had already been sold.

I’ve checked the discarded items, but he’s not there, and I haven’t submitted him into any SBC. I also thought he might be in the unassigned items, but he's not there either. In the end, I had to buy him back myself.

Could you please help me understand what happened?
