Career’s mode

Career Mode in FC 27 is currently extremely frustrating and, in my experience, almost unplayable because of several serious issues.

First of all, my players constantly ask to be transfer-listed even when everything seems completely fine. They regularly start matches, get plenty of playing time, and there are no obvious problems with their role in the squad, but they still suddenly become unhappy and request a transfer. This happens far too often and makes long-term squad building extremely frustrating.

The Dynamic Potential / player development system also seems to work very strangely. For example, I can have a player who is consistently performing well, scoring goals, providing assists, and playing almost every match, but his attributes or development can still start declining. It does not seem to properly reflect the player’s actual performances.

AI-controlled transfers are another major issue. Transfers involving players and managers at other clubs are often extremely unrealistic. After a few seasons, many teams start to look completely unrealistic because of strange transfers and managerial changes made by the AI. It seriously hurts the immersion of Career Mode.

Injuries also seem far too frequent. I understand that injuries are part of football and they should happen, but having players get injured almost every match does not feel realistic at all. There needs to be a much better balance.

There is also an annoying issue with custom tactics. Whenever I create or add a new tactic, my players often automatically change positions or get moved around in the lineup. I then have to manually put everyone back into their correct positions every single time. Please stop tactics from automatically changing the player’s position in the starting XI unless the user chooses to do so.

Gameplay passing also needs serious attention. I understand that passing should not be 100% accurate and mistakes are part of real football, but right now far too many simple passes fail to reach the intended teammate. Even basic short passes can randomly go in the wrong direction or directly to an opponent. It makes build-up play extremely frustrating and sometimes feels like the game is ignoring the player’s input.

EA, please address these issues:

• Players requesting transfers despite receiving regular playing time
• Strange Dynamic Potential / player development behaviour
• Unrealistic AI player transfers and managerial changes
• Excessive injuries
• Custom tactics automatically changing player positions
• Extremely inconsistent passing and player input

A lot of Career Mode players have been talking about these problems, and they seriously affect the experience.

I genuinely want to enjoy Career Mode, but right now these issues make it very difficult to play for a long period of time.

Please investigate and fix these problems in future updates. Career Mode has a lot of potential, but it needs much more attention.
