Error on manager career

I’m experiencing a game-breaking bug in Manager Career Mode on PS5.

Despite winning the league on points, the board fires me for supposedly failing to win the league title.

After being fired, I’m forced to select a new club. Once I select a club, a trophy celebration cutscene starts. After the cutscene finishes, the screen turns completely black while the background music continues playing. The game becomes unresponsive, and I cannot progress.

Skipping the cutscene results in the exact same black screen. I’ve also tried selecting multiple different clubs, but the issue happens every time.

Unfortunately, I don’t have an older save file to load, so my entire career is currently stuck.

I’ve experienced similar issues in previous EA FC editions as well.

Game: EA Sports FC 27
Mode: Manager Career Mode

Is this a known issue, and is there any workaround or fix available? I would really like to continue my existing career without having to start over.
