Corners and fouls are causing me problems

I’m finding myself playing ultimate team and every time I am at a corner either in my box or other players, when ball gets played it doesn’t auto swap to best player to take the ball. Also if the player I have on the ball is in a good spot when I try to get the header, they just ignore the ball fully. 

I feel the fouls are fully one sided, I’m getting pulled back for touching a player slightly, yet I’ve been fully bodied after making a pass and no foul is being called. Just getting frustrating as I can’t even challenge for the ball as even just jockeying into the ball gives me a yellow card
