I’m quitting this game, and I hope many others do too.

The reasons why I’m giving up right at the start are simple. First of all, you can't actually play FOOTBALL. Interceptions are completely overpowered—the opponent just needs to be a yard away from the passing lane and they magically intercept the ball. On top of that, everyone uses the same tactics and plays the exact same way. Honestly, I could play like that too—set up two CDMs, spam the offside trap, and spam lofted through balls—but I don't want to because that isn't FOOTBALL to me.

It’s so frustrating when you try to build up a play but none of your players move properly unless you manually trigger their runs, and even then, they often make completely nonsensical runs. It’s just unplayable. To make matters worse, something is wrong with this community because everyone copies the same meta, thinks they are amazing at the game, and they might be good at the game, but they aren't playing real football. I sincerely hope EA makes a good football game again one day, but as long as this formula remains profitable, the hope for change is incredibly low. That’s all from me. Good luck to those of you who can still play this game and somehow manage to have fun.

  • I totally agree with you! I am very disappointed as well. I recognised that passing and playing system. Since I buying this game (2001) is getting worse every year. They definitely never played football not even on playgrounds. But this game is never worth a penny. I say good bye to this game as well. I hope once upon a time we can buy and enjoy a real football game.
