Let Managers Tell Scouts EXACTLY What They’re Looking For!
Scouting instructions are currently very old and basic. We can mainly ask scouts to find players based on things like age, nationality, position, and a few general characteristics. But we can’t tell them what we actually need from a player based on our vision, tactics or specific attributes which can take the game to a new next level.
Suggestion: being able to give scouts much more detailed instructions based on our playing style, position, and specific attributes needs.
For example:
- Wing Play: If I want to play with crosses and a target striker, I could ask scouts to find STs with 80+ Heading, 80+ Strength, or 80+ Jumping.
- Counter Attack: If I want fast counter-attacking football, I could ask scouts to find me wingers with 90+ Pace, or 90+ Dribbling.
- Possession Football: I could ask scouts to find CMs/CDMs with 85+ Passing, 85+ Ball Control, and 85+.
- Defensive Style: I could ask for CBs with 85+ Defending, 80+ Strength, and 80+ Pace.
- High Pressing: I could ask scouts to find midfielders with high Stamina, Pace, and Defensive attributes.
in addition, the same detailed filters should also be available directly in the Transfer Hub for managers who prefer to search for players themselves instead of using scouts.
This would make scouting feel much more like an actual manager’s tool and help us build squads around our own tactical identity.
