SL Benfica Goal Song Is Wrong — Replace Explosion with Seven Nation Army

SL Benfica’s goal sound in EA SPORTS FC 27 is still incorrect.

When Benfica scores at Estádio da Luz, the game plays an extremely loud explosion/bang followed by silence instead of the club’s actual goal celebration music.

This is not a new issue. The exact same problem was already reported on the official EA Forums during FC 24, and that report states that the issue was already present in FIFA 23. So this has now remained unfixed across several editions of the game.

Benfica uses Seven Nation Army after goals at Estádio da Luz, with supporters joining in with the recognizable “lo-lo-lo” chant. This is part of the real matchday atmosphere at Benfica.

What makes this especially frustrating is that other clubs already have proper goal music represented in EA SPORTS FC. Atlético de Madrid and Girona have the correct type of Seven Nation Army goal celebration represented, while Benfica is still assigned the explosion sound.

Current behaviour:

Benfica scores -> huge explosion sound -> silence.

Expected behaviour:

Benfica scores -> Seven Nation Army / authentic Estádio da Luz goal celebration.

This is especially noticeable in Career Mode because stadium atmosphere and club authenticity are such an important part of the experience. Benfica has an authentic stadium, chants and presentation, but every goal is followed by an audio effect that has been reported as incorrect for years.

Please pass this to the EA SPORTS FC audio/stadium presentation team and finally update SL Benfica’s goal sound.

If there is any licensing issue preventing the exact original recording from being used, even an appropriate licensed/versioned Seven Nation Army goal audio would be far more authentic than the current explosion and silence.

Please fix this long-standing issue for Benfica supporters and Career Mode players.
