AI Issues… Yet Again

Same as last year but in reverse. Last year there was an issue where the AI just hogged the ball, done nothing with it and then scored a goal from one shot and that was your life every game regardless of what team you played. They fixed it, game improved (slightly) and then this one came out.

this one came out and the gameplay imo felt okay, decent pacing, scrappier games in lower divisions but still exciting enough and now they’ve done an update and we’re back to boring ball hogging teams.

for context, just played Barnet. They’re leading half time with 75% possession with 110 passes and 97% accuracy… they’ve had a shot and a goal. So we’re back to this type of gameplay. I know EA script their games we all do and have just come to terms with it but… i realise you need to make the games competitive. Hear’s the thing THERE IS NOT A SINGLE FC PLAYER WHO WILL FIND ENJOYMENT OUT OF CHASING A BALL DOWN FOR 90 MINUTES AND THEN LOSING 1-0  TO ONE SHOT FROM A TEAM LIKE BARNET.

they’re borderline time wasting at 0-0 just revert the gameplay back on career mode to how it started… or just fix it like you did last year where they don’t hog possession as much… maybe make more mistakes… or actually you know… run forward with the ball rather than sideways to the touch line then passing it a defender.

Rant over, the Barnet loss was still fresh.
